C. Scott Howe MD is a writer, an artist, and a former mender of the ill and tragically injured.

With his wife, Julie, four daughters were raised in the high plains of Colorado – all strong female characters themselves.

Blending medical insight with human nature and miracles of the natural world, Howe crafts dark, character – driven stories filled with suspense, survival, mystery, and redemption. His work combines, psychological depth, botanical intrigue and emotional resilience into immersive literary thrillers.

Dr. Howe illustrated the children’s book entitled The Dragon Mountain written by his mother, Darlene Howe.
